Disney World Resort

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

We have selected Disney’s Pop Century Resort as our hotel for the nights of Thurs, 11/13 & Fri, 11/14. This is known as a “Value Resort Hotel” as it is one of the most affordable options nearby.

We highly recommend staying at this or another Disney resort so that transportation to the Cruise Terminal on Saturday morning is smooth, easy, and included in our stay. Staying at a Disney Resort also provides you early access to the parks!

We will be doing a 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket to Magic Kingdom for Friday, 11/14. We will be taking a “Minnie Van” (operated by Lyft) from the resort to Magic Kingdom so that the traveling is easier for Brittany’s Dad. The Resort does include a free Disney Bus to Magic Kingdom. Those are the only two transportation options to the park.

We will be flying into Orlando on Thursday, 11/13, then taking the Disney Transportation from this resort to the Cruise Terminal Saturday, 11/15.

As of today, we see the following room rates:
- Standard Room: $236 (average per night)
- Standard Preferred Room: $272 (average per night)

We chose the Standard Preferred, but the only difference is that it is closer to the lobby/transportation.

Do not book a package with tickets, as they require 2 days worth of tickets minimum and we will only be going for 1 day. Book the room only.

We HIGHLY ADVISE booking your room at your earliest convenience! It is 100% refundable up until November 5, 2025. Do not wait to book as you don’t want to risk the prices going up or rooms selling out.

Of course you’re welcome to stay anywhere you would like! We have done a lot of research on the options and this is the resort we recommend, but it’s definitely not required.

TO SUMMARIZE:
Thursday, 11/13 - Check In
Friday, 11/14 - 1 Day, 1 Park Ticket for Magic Kingdom
Saturday, 11/15 - Check Out (Disney Bus Transportation for the Cruise)

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Fantasy Stateroom

There are 4 types of “Staterooms” on this cruise: Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge. The inside rooms do not have a window, but do have a screen that they show what it looks like outside as if you did have a window. The Oceanviews have windows to see outside. The Verandah rooms include your own private balcony where you can actually go outside and sit and look at the ocean! The Concierge rooms are the luxury suites.

We booked (and highly recommend) a Verandah Room. It is truly a game changer to be able to have your own balcony and access to the fresh air. Picture having room service (which is free!) brought to your room and you can sit in your chairs on the balcony enjoying the ocean view. The Oceanview rooms are also very nice though if you’d prefer the cost savings.

The ship we are sailing on is called the Disney Treasure and it is the brand new ship in the Disney fleet! It will not even be a year old by the time we set sail :) We highly advise reading all of the fun features the cruise includes!

As of right now, we are seeing the pricing as follows:
- Inside: starting at $5,047
- Oceanview: starting at $5,495
- Veranda: starting at $5,775
- Concierge: starting at $11,529

These prices INCLUDE 2 ADULTS.

Pricing depends on the floor and section of the ship (aft, mid, front). The higher and more central the floor, the higher the cost. We are room #10100 which is on the 10th floor, right in the center if you’d like to be close to us. You can also let the cruise ship choose your room for you, which will save on cost. They also have family rooms if you want to bring your kids and stay in one stateroom.

If you’re not familiar with All-Inclusives, all of your food, sodas, lodging, ports, and on-board activities are all included in this price. The only things not included in this price: alcohol (there are no open bar packages, you will pay per drink only), excursions on port days, shopping, specialty coffee, specialty ice cream (but regular soft serve is included 24/7!), and specialty restaurants (there are 2 on this ship).

Please review all of the inclusions Disney Cruise Line offers on the website!

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your stateroom ASAP as the rooms will sell out! Don’t wait for the pricing to go up or for the room type you want, or in a location you want, to sell out. It is 100% refundable until July 1, 2025. Don’t wait!!
